Pastor Gibbs provides counseling in various areas of addictions, or life dominating sins. Premarital counseling including, learning styles, temperament assessment. He uses Dennis Rainey’s Premarital Counseling workbook. Pastor Gibbs believes that marital problems are more reflective of a person’s walk with God, which means that having a bad relationship with a spouse reflects a bad relationship with God. Pastor Gibbs seeks to teach his counselees how to approach circumstances, relationships and situations of life from a biblical perspective and to experience victory and contentment in all of life’s trials, testings, and problems.

God’s plan for you to change in a biblical way centers on His Son, Jesus Christ.

Because God’s standard is one of perfection (Leviticus 19:2, Matthew 5:48)

You cannot meet it by your own efforts (Psalm 143:2; Romans 3:23)

You cannot save yourself (Prov. 20:9)

Nor depend on any other human being to redeem you (Psalm 49:7)

You need to recognize your helplessness to meet God’s standard (Isa. 64:6)

And need to repent of your sin (Luke 15:7; 2 Peter 3:9)

By God’s grace and mercy, you recognize your lost condition and believe wholeheartedly and sincerely on the Lord Jesus Christ to receive the gift of eternal life. (John 3:16; 1John 5:11-13)

And forgiveness for your sins (Mark 16:16; Eph 1:7)
